Trauma Survivor’s Couples Weekend

The Tri-Life Trauma Survivor’s Couples Weekend is a specialized retreat designed to help partners navigate the complex aftermath of trauma together. Held at the Rocky Valley Resort on Texada Island, BC, this event focuses on transforming individual isolation into a shared, cooperative healing journey.

Healing Together: The Trauma Survivor’s Couples Retreat at Rocky Valley Resort

The journey of healing from trauma can often feel like a solitary path, but it doesn't have to be. This May, Rocky Valley Resort on Texada Island is hosting a specialized 5-day retreat designed to bridge the gap between partners and foster cooperative healing.

A Shared Path to Recovery

Trauma is often born from interpersonal events, and as a result, its effects are felt deeply within our most personal relationships. Many survivors feel forced to suffer in silence, while their partners are left feeling isolated and powerless to help. This disconnect can lead to broken trust, resentment, and a nervous system stuck in a state of "fight, flight, or freeze".

Our goal for this 5-day, 4-night interactive experience is to change that dynamic. By teaching couples how to connect over their shared journey, we provide a roadmap for supporting one another through both the problems and the solutions.
